Hi everyone! Guys, has anyone dealt with Colonial Van Lines? My wife and I are about to make a big move from Chicago to Florida, and I started googling options. I came across Colonial Van Lines — it seems like a company with experience, they say that they have been on the market for over 20 years. But I wonder how they actually organize the process? How do they treat customers, how do they handle things? I understand that everything is beautiful on the website, but I would like real reviews. If anyone has used them, please write. I am especially interested in "Colonial Van Lines reviews", where people describe in detail how everything went. Replies

Yes, we just moved with them last summer from Virginia to Austin. Our situation was not an easy one: two children, a dog, plus grandfather's antique furniture, which we were afraid to trust to anyone else. I, too, like you, read a bunch of colonial van lines reviews - both positive and not so much, so I decided to call them directly and ask all the questions that were worrying me. What I liked right away was that they explained quite patiently and clearly how the move would go, what is included in the price, what pitfalls there could be. We immediately ordered a full package with packing, because we simply did not want to do it ourselves. The guys arrived on time, polite, it is obvious that they are not newbies - everything is clear and well-coordinated. They even wrapped the things that we packed ourselves, just to be sure. One thing - the delivery was a little delayed (about two days later than promised), but we were warned in advance and explained that it was due to the weather conditions on the highway. So I do not consider this a minus. But there wasn't a single scratch on the furniture. I was especially surprised by how carefully they handled my grandfather's antique sideboard, although I thought it would definitely chip somewhere along the way. So my review of Colonial Van Lines, in short, is positive. Of course, there can always be nuances, and a lot depends on the specific team, but in our case everything went more than decently. The main thing is to discuss everything in advance and carefully read the contract.

I haven't used their services personally, but I've heard about them a couple of times - a colleague from the office told me that his relatives moved with Colonial Van Lines and were generally satisfied. It seems that the main thing is that they are really good at intercity moves and know how to minimize possible problems. I also read "Colonial Van Lines reviews" out of interest - opinions vary, but most write that they have everything at a good level in terms of logistics and packaging.
