I’m looking to replace our front door mainly for energy reasons—it’s super drafty and our bills are going up. I live in Vaughan and want a door that looks good but also helps keep the cold out. Any suggestions for energy-efficient options or vendors that specialize in this?

Good insulation makes such a difference—sometimes even more than replacing windows.

We had the same issue with drafts and rising heating costs, so finding an energy-efficient door was top of our list. A neighbor pointed us to www.elegantentrydoors.ca/vancouver/ entry doors Vaughan, and we found a selection of doors with insulated cores and high R-values. The one we chose was a steel door with a polyurethane foam core, and after installing it, the temperature indoors became noticeably more stable. Their team also helped with proper weather stripping and ensured a snug fit, which really made all the difference. The door also looks fantastic and complements the rest of our exterior. Definitely check them out if you want both form and function.
