Hi folks! I’ve been thinking of replacing the siding on my home but can’t decide on the best time of year to do it. Is spring better than fall? Or should I aim for summer for fewer weather delays? I live in the Boston area and want to plan ahead. Any insights appreciated!Replies

Interesting question. I was wondering about this too, since the weather here changes fast.

Spring and early summer are usually the sweet spot. Crews are more available before peak season hits, and the weather is generally dry enough to avoid delays. I checked out ubrothersconstruction.com/l-home-renovation-boston siding boston before booking and it helped me understand the timeline and availability of local companies. I scheduled my project in early May, and it worked out perfectly. The team came in, assessed everything, and started work within a week. They avoided the wettest days and got the job done fast. If you wait until late summer or fall, you might run into scheduling issues or sudden cold snaps. Planning ahead gives you a better chance to negotiate pricing too, since demand isn’t peaking yet. Definitely recommend calling a few places now and seeing what their calendar looks like.
