Hey everyone, I’ve been coming across ads and websites offering fake high school diplomas that look real and promise to help with jobs or college applications. I’m curious, do these actually work? Has anyone here ever used one or known someone who did?
What are the potential legal or personal consequences if you get caught? I’m not considering it seriously, just trying to understand why people take that route and what risks are involved.
Would love to hear honest experiences or warnings before anyone thinks about going down that path.
Thoughts?

I haven’t used one myself, but I’ve seen a couple of cases where people tried using a fake high school diploma and it rarely ends well. Most employers and colleges have verification systems now, and it’s getting harder to pass these fakes off as real. If you get caught, the consequences can be serious: termination, denial of admission, and even fraud charges depending on how it was used.
People usually turn to fake diplomas out of desperation, but it's not worth the risk. There are legit GED programs and adult education options that are safer and more respected.
