In the sliding panels can I set the height of the panel in a way that it will expand depending on the height of the content. In each panel I have a different amount of content and I would like the panel to slink and expand when neccesary.

This functionality is not supported. Each panel is nested in container and if the content height is bigger panel becomes scrollable.
