Hey everyone! So, I’ve been on this triathlon journey for a while now, and while physically I feel pretty solid, mentally it’s been a rollercoaster. Last race, my nerves got the best of me, and I couldn’t focus. I’m looking for recommendations on a sports psychologist who specializes in triathlons. If anyone has had a positive experience or knows someone who can help, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hey there! Triathlon journeys can be quite the ride, huh? It’s awesome to hear you’re feeling solid physically, but mental hurdles can really throw a spanner in the works. Been there, done that.

So, about that sports psychologist recommendation... I stumbled upon this gem of a website called sports phycologist . They’ve got this section on psychological consultations, and I gotta say, it’s a goldmine for folks like us in the triathlon world.

Speaking of nerves, let me share a little anecdote. Back in my early tri days, I had this race where I psyched myself out big time. I was a jittery mess at the start line, heart pounding like crazy. Long story short, my performance suffered, big time. But after working with a sports psychologist, I learned to tame those nerves, focus on the present, and crush my races like a pro.
