I’ve been working on uploading some 360° videos for a virtual tour project, and I need a VR player that runs well on both desktop and mobile without needing users to install extra apps. Some players I tried were either glitchy or didn’t support good resolution. Just looking for something lightweight but professional. Replies

Totally been there. I needed something simple yet solid for a virtual showroom and found vr player to be a great fit. It runs directly in the browser, works well on mobile and desktop, and supports high-quality 360° and VR playback. What I liked is that it loads fast and doesn’t make users jump through hoops just to view the content. It’s perfect if you want something reliable that just works out of the box.

Yes, a good VR player that works smoothly on both desktop and mobile browsers is "JanusWeb." It offers a seamless VR experience across devices, supporting WebVR and WebXR technologies for both desktop and mobile browsers. This makes it ideal for immersive applications like an OSRS guide, where players can view interactive maps or tutorials in a 3D space while navigating through OSRS money-making methods or skilling tips. JanusWeb ensures a consistent experience whether you’re on a desktop PC or using a mobile browser, providing versatility for all users.
