I'm having a bit of a problem with getting this page to load correctly.

I have a table on the page showing test results and teachers comments and at the top of the page I have 3 links to export the table. I am using: Export to Excel, CSV and PDF.

on the lead in page, the visitor clicks the date of the test cycle, and it loads the next page with the results table and export option links.

The problem is that when the user clicks the date on the previous page, the results page does not load at all, it simply starts the download of the Excel option and stays on the lead in page.

I don't want the download to happen until the user selects the filetype they want on results page.

Right now there is only one available test date, but you can view it at:

Any ideas or tips would be welcome.

Hello Jeff,

Did you add the Exporter through the Server Behaviors to export a recordset? If so - please add a button / link on the results page and add it there through the Tag Inspector panel.

When I export using the recordset, I want it to be equal to the universal, clicking a button to export, not when you load the page, is it possible?
