I have installed HTML5 SLideshow v1.0.3 in Dreamweaver CS4 & CS5 on OS X (10.6.5). The extension installation appears to have been a success as I can install an HTML Slideshow using either version of DW in a document and use the Slideshow's dialog boxes to add photos and change attributes.

However, when I attempt to view using Safari 5 or IE8 on Win 7, only the div's black background is displayed.

Please make sure that in Dreamweaver Preferences / Code Formatting / Line Break Type is set to CR LF (Windows)

And then recreate your page.
