I can only give you my personal opinion. I have severe chronic pain(4 different types) and was on a strong narcotic for 12 years. I developed hyperalgesia which means these increased my pain and I had no where to turn. I was in agony and then heard about Kratom. I was impressed that it is a natural leaf. I now use it to control my pain and have a life because of it so for me it is a lifesaver.
