I've more bootstrap installations and I'd like to use your extension only for some websites.
The problem is that every time I open a page with boostrap framework (implemented manually), your extension update the code/files... is possible to block your automatic check and enable it only when I need?

Thanks.

Michele

Hello Michele,

The check is automatic in order to verify that all files and code are in place or available so the extension could perform its duties. Unfortunately that cannot be switched on/off.

Regards.

Hi Miro,
I find it (automatic update ) unusable... for this reason, usually I disable your extensions every time I finish to use them.

For bootstrap is very dangerous because your extension could overwrite the original or custom files.

Please, consider in the next versions to implement this important features (switch on/off automatic update).

Thanks!

Hi Michele,

We recommend not to change the core files but always create a custom file and make any changes in it.

Ok, but sometimes the developer don't want update the bootstrap files for compatibility problems (for example 2.3.2 with 3.0.0).

Last but not least... your update automatic change jquery's version and position files in the code (usually I put all .js links in the bottom but your system change and move some files in the header).

In the newly released DMXzone Bootstrap 1.1.0 you can choose how to include your bootstrap files - normal, minified or even through CDN. You can also disable auto file update and browse to your own bootstrap css.

Does one need to go through all 11 videos searching for an answer to robert claeys' straight forward question: How to reach the options panel to disable 'auto update'?

Jeez, not everyone is this world is enamored with video as a replacement for textual information - esp. when it's a question of how to access a product's basic functions. Why not include this info on the Features Page?

Hello Robert,

Here is the video tutorial, no need to go through 11 videos actually: www.dmxzone.com/go/21913/using-dmxzone-bootstrap-include-options

The video tutorials are there for everyone asking questions about the basic features, this way it is not needed to explain the same and the same over and over again.
