When I insert FA it puts the line
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="//netdna.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.0.3/css/font-awesome.min.css" />
I understand this should be 4.7.0 but if I manually change the line the fa floater does not recognise the page as having fa in it.
I have tried doing a reinstall with your extension manager but this has made no difference. There is no option for downloading an MXP file so I cannot use the Adobe extension manager.
Unfortunately your extension manager does not tell me what version I have installed or what version there is online.
Please would you help me.

Hello Badg,
Do NOT use Adobe extension manager to install your extensions.
If there is an update you will see the update available under the UPDATES section ...
Also under installed section you can see the version installed it is displayed there.

In order to reapply the extension settings just open - commands > DMXzone Font Awesome Options and select how to include the font awesome on your page.

In installed it shows version 1.3.0
If I uninstal it restart the system and reinstall it it still shows 1.3.0
It still installs a reference to fa/4.0.3 in the page.
When I go to commands > DMXzone there are no available choices.
Please help.

The latest version is 1.3.0 as you can see in the update log on the product page:
