With Adobe rolling out the 2017 CC apps today when can we expect that EM will support this? I have installed 2017 and EM does not detect it. Tried running several times, restarting EM 1.1.4 etc but no go

Yes, i received your emails. However we need some additional debug info:
1. Quit DMXzone EM
2. Right click the DMXzone EM shortcut and click Properties
3. In the Target field, after the path to the exe, add: --enable-logging --v=1
So the target should look like:

Quote"C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\DMXzone Extension Manager\DMXzone Extension Manager.exe" --enable-logging --v=1

4. Start the DMXzone EM
5. Send us the generated C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\dmxzone-extension-manager\User Data\chrome_debug.log file

I see you have two language folders there:
en_US and en_GB

And in one of them there is no version.xml file in the Configuration folder.

So please check which of the two folders miss the Configuration\version.xml file: en_US or en_GB and remove it. This will fix the issue you are having.

Excellent! Thanks Teodor. That has fixed the problem.
Any thoughts on why that has happened?

Great news!
This seems to be some strange(rare) bug in DW installation, when it is creating a second language folder, which is not usable ...

Had the same problem.

Removed the second language folder (without the version.xml). All is working now.

Hi Zaid,

Actually this problem was resolved by reverting to 1.1.5. Then it worked OK. Im was hesitant to take the 1.2.0 update and indeed I had problems seeing the EM. As said in the first line, quit EM, start it again, if it doesn't help, reboot, don't start Dreamweaver and start EM; if that doesn't help, go back to a previous version. Good luck.

Well, as said, in the meantime I am working with EM 1.2.0. and that works fine combined with W7 and Dreamw 2017.5.

I think I have deleted the 1.1.5 version, I cannot check at the moment, sorry. Ask DMX, I would advise, George could help you out.
