Have had to reformat my machine (win10 latest updates) and reinstalled DW and Extension Manager.

Yesterday I noticed that my mouse cursor constantly had the system process blue wheel flashing at me so went into task manager and noticed that the EM is trying to load/run but is failing to but clearly keeps trying to.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled and same issue is happening and not sure what needs to be done to solve it?

oh and have disabled AV when trying to run and thats made no difference

Please make sure you are using the latest video card drivers.

its a fresh install of latest win10 version

have also been on with MS to make sure and its up to date.

As soon as I kill extension manager in the task manager, activity stops

What i mean is to go to the site of your video card producer and download/install the latest video drivers from there. Do not rely on Win 10 to install them.
