I FINALLY got the Tabs 2 extension to open - took 4 install attempts to get it to work. NOW, when I attempt to add a tab area, it appears way off to the side, outside of Dreamweaver's design panel. This has been a major problem since the first version and I have reported this issue several times and it is still not fixed!!.

I usually have to resolve this by finding any "relative" parameters in your dmxTabs.CSS file and comment them out. Then the tab screen will display between my div tags I place on the page and not off-side somewhere.

I am going to try to fix the CSS AGAIN but if this takes too much of my time, I'm asking for a refund!

Hello Randy,
Can you please explain a little more detailed what exactly do you mean by: "it appears way off to the side, outside of Dreamweaver's design panel" ? What part of the css do you edit? Please provide a screenshot if possible.

Macbook Pro 15" mid 2010, OSX 10.9.5, DWCS6

I've been trying to use this extension for over two weeks now and am having a very bad experience with it. It is VERY flaky and unreliable! When I try to insert a tab group onto my page, it "flies off" to one side, outside and to the right of Dreamweaver's design panel. If I try to add more then three or four tabs, the entire tab group breaks and the tabbing no longer works. If I try to add anything other than simple text, again the tabbing function breaks.

To prevent the fly-off, I need to modify the "redmond.css" to prevent the tab group from displaying outside of Dreamweaver's design panel.:

.ui-tabs .ui-tabs-nav li {
list-style: none;
float: left;
/*position: relative; COMMENTED OUT TO PREVENT FLYOFF */
top: 0;
margin: 1px .2em 0 0;
border-bottom: 0;
padding: 0;
white-space: nowrap; }

After I work with the extension for an hour or so, Dreamweaver inserts another new set of extension support files into my Styles/jqueryui folder which breaks everything and I have to start all over. It is frustrating and exasperating using this extension - unless you can offer fixes to these issues, I am going to insist on a refund since I no longer want to use this extension as it exists.

Please help!

P.S. How do I get a screen shot to you??

Hello,
Your explanation sounds confusing. First of all - what exactly do you call "design panel"? Also - you do not need to edit any of the css or jquery files in order to use the extension.
From what you experience it sounds like either you are doing something absolutely wrong or your DW configuration/installation is corrupted. Please explain step by step what exactly are you doing and send your screenshots and the page you are working on to
