Great work on the Chart Extension!
Would it be possible to enable the selection of Dynamic Labels (lightning bolt) in the future?

Also have been trying to Format currency and Decimals but they don't seem to work with the charts? Dates are fine however.

Thanks for the great work.

Dave.

Hi Dave,
Please provide a link where you have issues formatting currency/decimals?
I will discuss the dynamic labels idea with the team. Can you provide an example - when you need dynamic labels exactly?

Wow man that was a quick reply! Thank you.

I'm restricted to a white-listed environment so unfortunately can not provide access at this time. I'm trying to Format as I usually would with any other numeric value.

Total.toNumber().formatCurrency("€", ".", ",", "2")

Regarding Dynamic Labels example. We have payments with an amount and a Title, ie, 235.40, Dealer Commission. Rather then a generic title for these values we would like to display the actual Title itself as the Label.

Thanks again.

Hi Dave,
Just some more questions about the dynamic labels.
Which labels exactly are you referring to? Currently the X-axis labels can be dynamic. Are you not referring to them?

Hi Teodor,
Please see below image.

Hope that explains it slightly better.

Thanks for your consideration.

Hey Dave,
This is the data set name, it cannot be dynamic...
You can create a different data set for different event types, and use their names there.

Would love to have the labels on the charts without having to mouse over them. This is the main reason why I have not purchased it. Don’t like that it comes up as a flat chart or graph, but nothing displayed unless you mouse over

Hello Jay,
The labels cannot be displayed without a hover event.
You can show a legend displaying what the graph is showing:

I cannot really think of a case where i would need an interactive chart to display every label on load - especially this is not user-friendly and not useful, when the chart has many points ...

can you make the Label for the dataset have the ability to use a dynamic source value.

example: {{scprogram.data.tcm1[0].equipname}}

My users have the option to pick the values that are loaded into the dataset... but it cant load the name from the dataset. I am using a "randomData" script to build the datasets.

Hi Carlin,
No, you cannot make dataset names dynamic.

Is there a dynamic method to show the legend? If not how can I get the css of the line colors used as I need to build some reference key for printing options of reports that I have made with the chart tool.
