No walk-through examples on how to create something. I've purchased server connect and app connect to get to charts, and now at a dead end. Is there more help?

Well, there are a couple video tutorials available on the product page ... www.dmxzone.com/go/33054/app-connect-charts

Ah. I got it now. Thanks for your patience.

I got a nice little line chart from my data. Played with sizes and stuff and it was great.

I tried to convert it to a bar chart and it froze DMX completely. Had to force quit. So I opened it again, deleted the chart. Then tried to start a new chart and selected "bar" and it froze again. Same server connection. Same data query. DMX CC2019.

???

Well, I figured THAT out too. Bar chart freezes the app extension (and all of DMX) when selected on the drop down, but can be entered in the code section as type, replacing "area."

Which brings up another thing. If you use the presets- 800w, 600h, line, set colors, etc, the code section doesn't show them as selected. However, if you select other options when you initially set it up, those options appear in code and are actually easier to change there than to go back to the dropdowns. I've found a few things that in fact won't change in the drop down.

That's the sort of user stuff it would be nice to have a place to share.

A chat room would help.

Hello John,
We are going to check what's wrong with the Bar Charts.

Trying to select Pie Chart also locks up Dreamweaver.

Still locks up when attempting to create a bar chart or pie chart. The workaround is to select area chart and manually edit the type in the code to bar or pie. If you leave the default "line" in, it doesn't show in code.

I see there's a font library in the app, but no idea how to edit the styles. Is it possible, for example, to edit individual lines? I have a chart with 7 different lines, and while the colors are nice, in a perfect world I"d like to edit the line style of ONE of the lines, making it thicker... maybe dashed.

And is there any hope of combined charts, like bar and line? Or a chart with two "Y" axis?

Getting lots of use out of what's there. Hope you keep supporting it. Looks like you're leaning towards Google Charts.
