Any suggestions on how to improve picture quality

I converted from a v1 library to v2 and the pictures are not as focused or clear

The thumbs aren't clear

Well the problem is that the thumbnails for the old version were sized very small (45x45) and there was no control for this.

In the new version you can choose how big you want the thumbnails, so you can resize them to a bigger size.
You can choose size dimention like 150px

In the version 2 viewer, the thumbnails are made to fit the available space - so the thumbnail images can even display larger than they really are. This is usually fine if the physical dimentions of the thumbnails are like 150-200px - but it can get ugly when using old version thumbails which are only 45px.

So for the best results I would suggest to regenerate the whole album with the new version 2.
