I’ve been noticing a lot of variation in oil change prices at different shops, and I’m wondering what the typical price range should be. Some places charge as low as $25, while others go up to $60 or more for the same basic service.

I’ve also heard of some services, like Car Zinity, which offer oil changes with added benefits. Are these prices reflective of the quality of service, or is there a lot of mark-up going on? What factors should I consider when choosing an oil change service?
