I’ve been using a notes app for a while, but I’m struggling to find a good way to organize everything. I have a mix of work, personal, and project notes, and it’s getting difficult to keep track of important information.

I’ve tried using folders, tags, and color coding, but nothing seems to stick. Does anyone have a system or workflow that works well for organizing notes in a digital format?

I’d appreciate hearing what methods others use to keep their notes efficient and easily accessible!

I organize my notes by creating broad categories like "Work," "Personal," and "Projects" as main folders. Then, I break those down into subfolders for specific topics (e.g., "Meetings" under Work, "Vacation Plans" under Personal). I also use tags like “urgent,” “ideas,” or “follow-up” to quickly search and find notes. In my notes app, I pin important notes to the top to stay on track with key tasks. Lastly, I archive older notes to keep my active workspace clean and focused. This system helps me stay organized and easily access what I need.
