Can buying TikTok shares really improve video reach, or is it just a short-term trick?

Hey TikTok creators 👋
I've been working hard to grow my TikTok account and I'm testing different strategies to improve video performance. One thing I keep reading about is how shares are one of the strongest engagement signals in TikTok’s algorithm — maybe even more than likes and comments.

I came across a service that lets you buy TikTok shares, and I’m curious if anyone here has actually tried it.

The idea is that the more a video gets shared, the more TikTok interprets it as valuable content and pushes it further on the For You Page. It sounds logical, but I don’t want to waste money or risk getting penalized.

👉 Has anyone bought TikTok shares recently (2024–2025)?
👉 Did it help boost organic reach or lead to more real engagement?
👉 Any downsides — like algorithm issues or account credibility problems?

Would love to hear some honest experiences before I try it myself.

Thanks in advance!
