Hi, I've read about the fade effect not working in IE but these were posts from years ago. Today, the fade effect in the latest version of HTML5 Slideshow still doesn't seem to work correctly with IE...???

Hope this is just something I'm doing wrong but it does work in Firefox though.

Hello Frank,

Which version of IE browser you are using?

IE version 8.0.7601.17514.

I've tried it with the latest version of HTML5 Slideshow, version 1.0.6, but still no working fade effect.

Hello Frank,

Due to some IE8 and 7 differences the fade effect is not yet supported. This is already addressed in the latest version of the extension issued yesterday.

Will this fade problem be fixed in the new version and when will this be released?

How do you update the slideshows already deployed on various sites with the newest version? Do you have to redo the sites for the new JQuery stuff to take effect, or is that automatic?

Hello SAM,

You need to reapply the slide show - select it in design view, open the UI by pressing the Slides button in the Property Inspector and click OK once it is shown.
