Ok so I'm struggling at how to use feed genie with something like Bitcoin exchange rates.
Here's MtGox's api data.mtgox.com/api/2/BTCUSD/money/ticker_fast
where I'm envisioning being able to sort and display the info I want to show. In attempting to add it as a custom feed, it gives a long error, though it does show info. ON top of that, I would like to see it perhaps integrated into some type of paralax banner auto refreshing with ajax.. How can this be accomplished.

What you got in this api is JSON object not an XML feed, thus the error.

well... we do not have yet such extension. Will check to be sure, but I think that the Data binding that is upcoming will deal with such JSON feeds.

yes that would be great to have an extension that handled json api's. it's becoming very common to have a need to import data and be able to display it. In this case, having it easily refresh the content with ajax or similar would be a nice complement too..
