Is it possible to add a timestamp to a filename?

I need to rename files coming from a iPad as they come in with no name and get named image.jpgIt doesn't help to tell it to make them unique since they have no name coming in. Each file gets named image.jpg and one overwrites the other.
If I could rename to add a timestamp on upload, this should solve it.
