I wish to have a button, "INSERT AS PLAIN TEXT", please. All my customers, insert from Word or other websites. And then, lots of html-code is inserted into the editor, that is not sweeped by the sweeper.

There is no need to post the same in each topic every week. When/If the idea is implemented you will be notified.

Unfortunately copy and paste actions can not be automated and placed under menu or button.

This is because all recent browsers have increased security settings and forbid any automatic copy/paste actions to protect the users.

So this can not be done.

Actually George, I have personally tried two other wysiwyg editor extensions that work great with DW and have "paste as plain text", and are fully cross browser compatible. One of them I use almost all the time instead of yours (because of this one feature). Out of respect, I won't mention them here, but you saying it's not possible just sounds like you haven't researched your competition.

After building content management apps for 10+ years for customer websites and intranets, one thing I've learned is that hardly anyone who uses these tools to publish content directly - writing it originally in the wysiwyg editor. No one does that in my experience. They are always copying and pasting from some other word processing app (most of the time MS Word). The "paste as plain text" capability makes the editor quick and hassle free.

In comparison, getting your content to look right with Adv. HTML Editor 3 when pasting in from a word processor is a process of trial and error. It literally takes 2 to 3 times as long to publish the same thing that you can get done in one try using an editor with a simple paste as plain text capability. I think many of the other features in your editor (gallery, etc.) are superior to other extensions, but it doesn't matter if the simple stuff can't be done quick and easy.

Steve is absolutely right in what he is saying.
DMX people please listen and implement this basic functionality, it will make your product complete and it will be better than the other editors on the market, at the moment they have the edge over you just because they can paste as plain text and nothing else!
