Intro to writing extensions

Not What I was Expecting
May 20, 2003 by Jeremy Conn
I am a little bummed out that we didn't even get close to creating or examining an Extension... this was great information but actually more of a description of what Extensions are.

I look forward to future issues, though.
Informative, but where's the beef?

I'm really interested in writing my own extension, objects.  When will the full article be available?

I purchased that article and it was only an explanation about creating extensions. There was no information about the actual creation of an object/extension, Etc. when I got to the last page, I thought to myself, "What am I missing here. There's nothing here that can actually show me how to start" Unless my "download PDF" button isn't working correctly, this article was just a teaser.

You would think from the title this was somewhat instructional

This is little more than an intro to what extensions are, not writing them yourself as the title intro paragraph would lead you to believe in order to collect your $3. I was sorely dissappointed to pay for 7 pages of "what each kind of extension is". Thanks, but I can see what kind of extensions there are from using them or looking in the help manual. The only instructional advice in this article was to look at existing extensions and learn from looking at them. Peeved...
