I've created a dynamic menu with 1 level of sub menus, all works fine when a menu contains sub menu items, however when a top level menu does not contain any sub menus the top level menu still shows a down arrow and an empty sub item.

Surely if the sub menu field is blank no down arrow or blank sub menu should show.

OK Here is the link

As you can see nothing in the Home sub menu yet it shows a sub menu blank.

Still waiting for a reply here. For %$#@ sake 3 days to get a problem looked at. Look like I need to purchase web assist CSS menu extension to finish this job. Not a very happy customer here.

Thanks for nothing.

Hi David,

Is your menu is static or dynamic?
As i see there is no title to the submenu under Home:

<li title="Home">
<a href="javascript:void(0);" class="expandable">Home<span class="sub_down"></span></a>
<ul class="sub">
<li title=""><a href="page.php?6"></a>
</li>

Its a dynamic menu

Table layout is:

ID | MenuName | SubMenuName | URLink

Not all records contain a SubMenuName as not all menu items require a sub level menu such as the menu.

Thanks

Well 1 week later and still nothing, thank you for showing me how you look after loyal customers. I will NEVER purchase another extension from DMXZone again.

Hello David,

Can you please tell me which column in your database are you using as a "break" column?

The menu works the problem is that it also shows a sub level node when there is no sub level. I would have thought if the field for sub level was NULL or blank then there would be no sub level container showing.

In your dynamic menu video you show how to create a single top level dynamic menu or a mega menu with all top level menus containing sub levels. Lets see a video with a menu that consists of both single top level menus and some with sub level menus. I'm sure you will see the problem with your extension then.

Its been over a week since this has been reported. I'm not going to bother using DMXZone extensions anymore due to the slow technical support.

I have purchased a product from WebAssist that works out of the box.
