In the template I am using, my menu item links look relative (../contact.html), but when I create a page from the template, the links become absolute (file:///C|/Users/Toolie/Documents/websites/gretchen-lawlor/contact.html>

How do I fix this?

Please save your newly created file. This happens with Dreamweaver when the child page is not saved.
