My users are used to copy and paste from word using the mouse right click.

Under Advanced HTML Editor 2 they could right click in the textarea and click paste to add the copy.

Under Advanced HTML Editor 3 there is the new edit context menu.

Could copy/paste be added to the menu or do I have to tell them they must use Ctrl V?

Unfortunately copy and paste actions can not be automated and placed under menu or button.

This is because all recent browsers have increased security settings and forbid any automatic copy/paste actions to protect the users.

So this can not be done.
