Hi Willy

When you open a page that uses AHE2 you can just select to add the AHE3 on it. Then all options from the old editor will be added to the new version and on apply the old version will be cleaned up from the page.

You have to do this age by page unfortunately. but it is a good way to verify everything is working as desired.

George

Doesn't work, it just adds AHE to the page, AHE2 is still there. Check screndump gelins.se/images/screendump.jpg

Sorry I wasn't clear - you need to select the AHE2 instance first on your page so it shows his Property Inspector. Then apply AHE3 on top of it.

George

It looks like this in Dreamweaver CS5 win7 editor outside content gelins.se/images/screendump3.JPG

And if I save and close the file in Dreamweaver, Dreamweaver hangs and crash when I try to open it again and I have to make new files with same result, a chrashed Dreamweaver. Only problems here George.

Hi Willy,

For any Dreamweaver crashes make sure you are not using any weird virus scanner or firewall - use aways the built in Windows Firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials as virus scanner.

Also make sure you delete your DW cache.

As for the editor being cutoff - make sure your tables do not have any CSS overflow:hidden attributes or simular that cuts off overflow content.

George

Hi Willy,

I just tried using the editor in CS5 in tables and had no problem whats so ever...

Maybe your DW is corrupted somehow? Did you tried deleting DW cache? If does not help maybe reinstall will...

You can also check the Event Log for more details on the crash - or the technical report that is doing send to Microsoft. Not that those will help but might give some insight.

George

Hi Willy,

Glad to see it is all solved. Yes Adobe fixed some more bugs in the next DW CS 5.5 as well

As for the wrong preview in DW - well I have no idea. In my DW. within table it looks all fine...

Maybe some CSS styling or missing/wrongly nested html tags?

Greetings,
George

Hi George!

Thanks again bad coder behind the last issue[:I]

I miss possibility to merge and split cells in table handling, works great otherwise.
