Hi there,
using CS4, safari 5.05, Adv HTML 3 and PU 2.
When I try to upload image the progress bar runs but then the image appears broken in the preview pane and the URL line only reads the upload folder with no image name. Have re-done three times and still no joy. Please help.

Hello Andre,

Have you set write permissions for the upload folder?

Seriously guys, I like your products. But the are buggy. And it is totally infuriating when the support dries up.
Can some one get back to me, or at least say we can no longer help and I will go and get a different product.
thanks
Andre

DMXZone,

I was pretty excited to purchase this extension, but support experiences like Andre's are keeping me making the purchase.

It's OK for a new product to have bugs, but the lack of support is a deal-breaker for me.

Hello Andre,

Please, provide the exact version of the Advanced HTML editor.

Also meanwhile please, set up the following test :

create an test page with a filefield and submit button and apply on it the Pure Uploader and see if it works as standalone product.

Also check out your php.ini for post_max_size and upload_max_size values and make sure they will allow the upload of the files you think will be uploaded.

Regards,

I am having the same problem. The path is showing but no image file name.

I have several pages in the same site using Pure ASP Upload 3 and Smart Image Processor which are all working without issue and the permissions on the upload folder are set to full control, the authorise file is in the folder.

It is probably something silly I have done, but I would like to know what.

If you can help it would be appreciated.

Just in case it is of interest to anyone, I solved this issue in my case (may not be yours!). I have a URL rewrite that forces lower case URLs (for SEO) and once I disabled this the image upload worked correctly.
