When pasting lists from Word, rather than creating clean [ul] or <ol> tags, HTML Editor 3 creates a nasty mix of multiple &nbsp; and multiple span styles with the symbol font and period acting as a pseudo &#8226;.

In Firefox 10, this results in display issues where the cursor goes outside the editor window when using the cursor control left key.

Editors should not directly interpret from Word. Word input needs to be parsed and replaced with clean [h1], <p>, <ol>, [ul], <strong>, <em>, etc... tags created in its place.

Thanks for moving this thread to the appropriate section.

The behaviour can be replicated on the demo page. Simply create a formatted list in Word, copy it, then open the demo in Firefox and paste the list into the editor.
