I tried to save cyrillic characters with the Avanced HTML editor 3, but it seems not work. I always get ??? characters insted of the cyrillic chars. The page is defined as UTF-8 and HTML 5. Any ideas how to handle cyryllic characters within Advanced HTML Editor?

Hello Nicolas.

I just tested with the latest version of the editor and there wasn't such a problem.
Please can you provide us with link to the problem page?

Regards:Vulcho.

Hello Vulcho,
Because it is a CMS page, it is not accessible for public. But one thing:
It is a page containing 3 Advanced HTML editors for the language German, English and Russian. Saving only latin letters is ok, saving latin AND cyrillic letters, does not work. The cyrillic letters will be saved as ????.
The database is MS SQL 2008R2 Enterprise. The collation is latin, but the text fields are ntext.
Greets, -Nicolas

In order to be able to save unicode characters you need to use utf-8 in database table as well.
