Hi all,
I just created a new website locally with easyphp and it works well.
Then I uploaded this website to the production server with php 5.2 and mysql.
It all works except file/image upload in Adv. HTLM editor 3.3.3.
I already set the upload directory permission to read/write permission.
I can upload files using other script (ADT upload image, for example works perfectly).
But when I try to use the Adv. HTML editor to upload images I get the loading icon (turning arrows) in the center of the upload window. The only thing I can do is close the window.
Strangely enough I can create folders/subfolders, so it doesn't seem a write permission error.

I already double checked all uploaded files and all seems ok.
What can I do do troubleshoot this problem.

TIA

tony

Hi Vulcho,
here is the link: www.gustoedegusto.it/admin/news_list.php
Click "modifica" to edit a record and then you get the details page containing two Adv. HTML Editors.
Here is the link to the source of the news_details.php page:link to the news_details.php source page.

Hello Tony.

Can you make sure that the upload_authorize file is in your upload folder?
Can you open the Advanced HTML Editor interface please and apply "Link Handling: Full" in "Formating" options under General Tab.
Can you open the File Manager Add-on settings dialog window and make sure that you had checked the checkbox for "Images" under "Allowed Files" section ?
Reapply also the path to your upload folder.

Regards:Vulcho.

Hi Vulcho,
sorry for the dalay.
I've already tried your suggestion by with no luck.
I forgot to add that the problem comes up when I use the file manager add-on. It all works normally using the image upload functions.
But the file manager is not working.
At least, locally on my development environment using easyphp with php4 + mysql.
Any idea how to fix this?

TIA

Yes. the file is there. But it's empty (and it is 0 Kb). Is this right?

Hi Vulcho,
I see PHP Version 5.2.12. And I have installed Pure PHP Upload 2 (latest version).
But please note that I've done nothing about Pure PHP Upload 2. I just applied the ADV HTML editor to my pages.
Have I to do something with Pure PHP Upload 2?

TIA

your current one :
ScriptLibrary/incPureUpload.php
Notify me when the change is done in order for me to test the upload page.

Can you go to the file manager add-on settings and under allowed files , tick the checkbox for images ?

The native Upload Progress is supported in PHP 5.4+.

If you want to use the progressbar on previous versions like minimum 5.2 you will need the APC progress extension installed and enabled on your server.
More about APC ( php.net/manual/en/book.apc.php ; pecl.php.net/package/APC )
