I am using Advanced HTML 3 with Google Maps Add-on to place only a google map in a page. In Firefox and Chrome it works fine but in Safari does not work unless you write something else before using the Google Maps Add-on.

So it does not work on the iPad either.

Hello Nacho.

Note that first you need to click inside the editor textarea and then click on the google maps icon in order to place it within the editor.
We will investigate the problems that you are receiving on iPad.

Thanks Vulcho, I tried clicking inside the editor and then on the google maps icon in order to place it within the editor and it worked fine.

I also noticed this is not necessary when using Firefox or chrome (I don't know with IE)

The thing about the iPad is that if the only thing you want to create is a map, when you click inside the editor the keyboard pops out, since you don't need it you naturally close it and then click on the google maps icon but by then the editor has lost focus and all your work with google maps is not saved.

If you know this then you click on the editor, next you click on the google maps icon and then you hide the keyboard, the problem is that most of my users don't know this and they get frustrated because after working on their maps when clicking ok the maps disappear.

Hello Nacho.

To avoid that, open the Advanced HTML Editor user interface and make sure that "Focus on Page Load" checkbox is selected under "General" Tab.
