I don't yet have the Editor 3 but am considering it and have two questions: 1) It appears that the editor does not use a textarea (within a form) for its contents container but instead uses a DIV element ... is that correct? Can the contents of the Editor 3 be submitted to a regular HTML form, such as on a classic ASP page so the request( "SomeFormElementName" ) can be used to recover the contents of the editor? Thanks in advance.

Hello Peter,
The editor IS using a text area and of course it can be used on forms on classic ASP Pages.

Thanks Theodore: One other question: Is it at all possible to add custom buttons (or button strips with multiple custom buttons) to the Editor 3 or is that not possible.
Thanks again.

Unfortunately it is not possible to add custom buttons. There are several button "skins" available, but it is not possible to insert your own.

Ok, understood.
Some additional questions Teodor that I'd appreciate your answer on:
1 - When using the Editor 3, a) for all the features it provides, can those features be optioned to show individually on the Editor 3 or does it only provide "pre-defined" sets of button/features through the "Skins" you previously mentioned. What I mean is can I limit what feature buttons Editor 3 shows if I want to: for example, as in a case where I don't have the NIVO slider but the Editor 3 has a button for that but I don't want the NIVO Slider button to appear since I don't have the NIVO extension? b) Since I cannot add custom buttons, is there a way to intercept an existing buttons's handler so that I can change what the button does (and the text that it shows) ?
2 - When using the Image Gallery Add-On: a) can I specify the upload folder where images are placed, b) will the image gallery allow uploads of multiple images at the same time?
Thanks Teodor

1. a) You can choose which exact options to show in the editor ( there is a checkbox for each individual option of the editor). The nivo slider icon won't appear if you don't have it installed and enabled.
b) You cannot change the button functionality and/or text.
2. a) Yes - that is exactly how it works
b) Yes.
Note: In order to enable the upload functionality, you need to have Pure ASP/PHP Upload extension installed in your DW.
