I've got DW CS6 and am trying to learn this new extension. The 'manual' is very light on, only providing very skimpy basics, not covering enough to make it useful yet. Hope it will be extended to include all uses and feeds soon.I am trying to connect a flickr feed, but have not succeeded. Can you please provide some basics on connecting to a flickr feed please? I'm getting very frustrated with zero productivity.

Hello Mandy,

Please, provide more details on what exactly you are trying to get from Flickr.

Regards.

Hi Miroslav,

I'm trying to get my own feed, or even my favourites to show.

The options look completely different to the Picasa sample provided, so I'm quite lost.

Thanks,
Mandy

Hello Mandy,

Each feed has different structure, so it is normal for the Flickr Feed to be different than the Picasa feed.
Take a look in the feed tree under [items] repeating element.

Thanks, I don't see any image elements.
It only has:
[Repeater]
@ index
@ number
@ name
@ value
@ oddeven

I don't know what to select, as none of them seem like the image data.

When trying to 'insert' name and then 'bind to' img.src I get this:
<img src="{{$index}}" name="{{$name}}" />

But it doesn't display anything in LIVE view
Think I am way off base with this one.

Can you please explain a little more detailed which of the public feeds exactly are you using?

I'm trying to view my own Flickr feed (www.flickr.com/photos/97954364@N02/)

I'm new to this so maybe I'm completely trying to do something that cannot be done...?

This is not the feed.
You need to select Flickr Publick feed, then enter your User Id in the User IDs field: 97954364@N02 , and click OK.
