Hello,

I'm unable to see child items using the GovTrack API. I can successfully get child items from the YouTube API that is included with the extensions and have modeled my use of GovTrack based on this. I can successfully connect to the GovTrack API in Dreamweaver and can see properly formatted JSONP using my browser console. However, I see no results in my child element.

Here is the code for my GovTrack example: scotausborn.com/HowTheyVoted

Here is the code for the YouTube example: scotausborn.com/HowTheyVoted/youtube.html

Please advise. Note that I had to set "cache": "true" in the datasource, since the _=timestamp parameter is invalid for GovTrack.

Thanks!

Doesn't work using the Sunlight API either, which doesn't require the "cache": "true" option. scotausborn.com/HowTheyVoted/sunlight.html

Beginning to think this extension in its current form doesn't work at all except for the stock APIs that are included.

Hello Scot,
From what i see the scotausborn.com/HowTheyVoted/ is working just fine.
The Sunlight API also works fine, but you shouldn't use a "-" in the datasource name. Please use either, an underscore: Sunlight_Bills or nothing: SunlightBills

Yep, I saw the advice to remove the hyphen in another thread and now the feed is working. Might want to include that bit of information in the docs re: custom feeds.

Thanks!
