This is a great question and a huge concern as I"m considering purchase of this extension. I see navigation as a huge hurdle since my websites I need to recreate as responsive include drop down menus and I'm not sure how to handle them. Is there any update on this subject?

Tina - check out the Bootstrap 3 Navigation extension. I purchased it the day it was released!
Works very well, especially if you use it in conjunction with the free Bootswatch theme extension.

The bootstrap 3 nav extention is the dropdown menus you'll need. This also works with other dropdown menus with a "responsive" option. We happen to use CSS3 Menu, css3menu.com and it works very well with a lot of formatting options and no javascript.
