While installing DMXzone extensions, I get several messages stating that:"A newer copy of the file "[...filename...]" already exists. Do you want to replace it?"
I have always answered "No" ... is this the correct action?
Why is this happening?

A "Yes" to overwrite newer files with older files? I was thinking that I should say " No" to keep newest files.

Yes, you should select Yes To All always. The files are actually not older
