BS3 corrupted data binding view, I open some of my ASP page and PHP just to find out the my data binding on the page all turn to gold shields, I did not what cause that, I have decided to rename Dreamweaver configuration folder and replace with an empty configuration folder, and I started to install my extension one by one, and each one I install i open my asp/php and now data binding looks good, not until I install Bootstrap 3 the data binding on the page turn again to gold shields. not sure what to do but with this conflict, we need a fix since all my other extension cannot see that I have database table attach to the page and therefor I cannot used them.

Here is 3 screen shot you should look at:
1. Bootstrap not install everything looks good

2. Extension installed

3. Database binding corrupted

Hello,
The so called by you "gold shields" are the way Dreamweaver sees your ASP or PHP code. This is nothing related to HTML5 Data Bindings.

you are so wrong!!! look at my screen shots before and after, I know what they are, I am DW user since it was UltraDev... Bootstrap 3 for some reason interfering and not letting Dreamweaver display data on the page correctly, so some (not all of them) extension you have that needs to be bind to a recordset will not work if they appear as golden shields, I can list them here, but maybe its against dmxzone polices, please try to fix it, see what cause it to happened,
non of your other extension do that

thanks

What i see from your first screenshot you are using DW CS6 with Spry Dataset, is that right?
I made a quick test with spry dataset in DW CS6 with not only bootstrap installed but inserted on the page. Screenshot:

AS you can see the PHP code is rendered as a "yellow shield" and the spry dataset bindings are shown as they are.
Bootstrap 3 is a front-end framework it does not change the way DW renders the code in Design view...

Hi Teodor, thank you for the reply
No I do not use spry dataset on this page, I us pure DW to create my tables on my ASP page.
1. 2 Screen shot showing how records display on the page when bootstrap3 is installed and other extension cannot be applied since they do not recognized any records on the page and therefor I am unable to apply them to the page
First Screen shot

2nd Screen Shot

3rd Screen Shot Shows How everything looks normal and now I am able to to apply any 3rd party extension

Please advice

Hello,
Classic ASP code is supposed to be rendered as "yellow shield" in your dreamweaver (please check Adobe's documentation) and not like {some.data.element} - most probably you are using some extension that shows it this way in your dreamweaver.
The fact dreamweaver tells you that you need to create a recordset only tells me your configuration is corrupted. This can be fixed by clearing your dreamweaver cache: www.dmxzone.com/go/16740/clearing-dreamweaver-s-cache/
Not only the bootstrap extension is not interfering with the design view, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the server behaviors of dreamweaver.
