Hi Guys,

Installed and am setting up Bootstrap in DW CC 2014 and when I go to save a file with BS3 I get a dialogue stating

"Making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or a translator. The change will be discarded"

I get this when opening a file as well and it only happens with new files created with the new DW none of the old files created in the previous version are affected.

Hi Bruce,

Could you make sure that the Bootstrap 3 options (available in the Commands menu) are the same as in your previous DW version.

So that the boostrap 3 include files are the same.

That fixed my other problem in the question regarding the frame work but not this issue

Any chance of helping with this please.

Seems to be an issue with a DW template mark up and Bootstrap. When I remove the mark up from the page all is ok - no dialogues and i can save files

I would like to keep the template mark up

I look forward to your help with this

To recap when I open say the index.html is when I get the dialogue box about translators and then it wont allow saving of changes made

Then if I open this one which has a DW template mark up I get a series of dialogue boxes, again about the translators and one about a missing file in the configuration folder and you can save changes. I have removed the template mark up from the index page so I could save a change previously.

If I create a new bootstrap 3 page in DW it seems to work fine though

Think I got this sorted myself.

1.The first issue in the pool site was that I had the automatic file update checkbox checked - unchecked that and fixed that one.

2. Second the yoga site was actually made in the original bootstrap extension (i forgot that) so by relinking the css and javascript file in the options panel and unchecking the auto update that was also fixed.

3. I have also been looking into my template issue in Bootstrap 3 and found that by deleting and relinking the css and js files in the dwt file the issue seems resolved - will test that further in coming days.

So for now thanks for your time and we will see how it goes from here.

I ran into this problem today too after upgrading to the most recent version of DW on my laptop (2014.1.1) - and as a result, I cannot create and save a blank page after inserting bootstrap 3.
