I need the body and elements of my page to be locked at a certain width. The fluid layout is creating problems. I have selected my containers and selected 'Fixed' in the Style in the bootstrap 3 Grid panel.

Hi Todd,
Could you please tell me what do you mean by "fixed"? Do you mean not-responsive?

When the browser is resized narrower, my elements are 'squished', the horizontal elements are changed to vertical, etc...

Perhaps I can clarify better. From what I understand:

With bootstrap, we have 12 columns. The responsive CSS file gives us 724px to 1170px depending on viewport. However, when the size drops below 724px wide, it 'becomes fluid and stacks vertically'.

Can this 'fluid stacking vertically' be stopped? If so, how?

Okay. So I have been messing with this, and am beginning to have a better grasp on divs and the column layouts... along with your bootstrap plugging.

I recommend to DMXZone that you have more information and references to information on how this all works. Videos made by good instructors with audio in the videos. Something like Lynda.com. With more support material, I think you would have more success with customers.

I had to look outside your side to find the answers to my questions.

Hello,
As it is described in the video tutorials, you build your layout as you wish using the Bootstrap 3 Grid panel, by changing the screen size properties (large, medium, small, extra small) and all of this can be done in Design View.
