Hi am having a problemWhen conflict handling is set to unique The file is renamed ok on the server but the old filename is stored in the db
I've tried setting the filename field in the upload behaviour from UploadFormRequest("Clip_Filename"
to the appropriate fields from the UploadForm and UploadFile Bindings generated by pau.
Still the newfilename is not stored on the server am i missing something really stupid?
Ive scoured the forums and the pretty unhelpfull help docs.
Please reply quickly and restore my faith in dmx zone

George and crew, i'm still waiting for a reply.
My coffee is going cold and my client is getting hot.
And my brain is turning to pulp.
you fancy pointing me in the right direction.
WOuld be really goo if you could provide more in depth informations on your extensions in the help.
not just simple baby steps to get the basic thing working, but more in depth as to the diffrent options, what the different pau.upload and upload file bindings relate too. also a flow diagram showing what order the extension performs operations. i thinkl a lot of peopole who buy your extensions arn't as stupid as you may think they are, and it would be good if you provided the information from the start.
The forums you provide here have been usefull on occasion, I really think if you are charging money for extensions you have a duty to provide more in depth explanations on how they work.
This would save developers a lot of time and would also bathe you in a much brighter light than at present.
I would like to know others thoughts on this, When i eventually manage to get DMX zone extensions they are brilliant, in particular the ASP Smart Mailer, but again with that it took a long time to get it working. I think if your support was better you would find a lot more people using your extensions.

Caroline,
Not that it helps much but I want you to know that this does not happen to me, I can upload the same image 20 times and it puts the correct renamed file name in the db. (Flash version)
Just of curiousity, are you having this problem with the Flash multi upload version or the 3.0 single file version??
Are you using any of the PUA add-ons?? IE Smart Image, etc??
