Hi
Not sure what is happening here but I have extensions installed that are no longer showing. I have been using Lightbox regularly and now it has disappeared from the "Insert / DMXzone" indeed I seem to have lost a lot of extensions from here. The other extension I have been using is Tabs and that disappeared from my installed Extensions in the new Extension Manager, I have reinstalled it and I cannot find that either.

I have shut down and restarted Dreamweaver a number of time but the extensions are still not showing.

Any advice welcome.

Regards

Keith

Hello Keith,
Are you sure you are looking at the Insert Panel > DMXzone and not the top menu named Insert?

Hi Teador
Yes, I am looking in the DMXzone panel, I use lightbox regularly and it is no longer there. I had not used tabs recently but that was not showing in the "installed" section of the the new Extension Manager, I have installed it and it now shows in extension manager but that also does not show in the DMXzone panel either. There looks to be a number of others missing but I have not validated the list as yet as it is very time consuming. I have not had any issues before.
Neither extension can be found in the drop down menu bar of dreamweaver either.

Hi Teador
There does seem to be a problem with the "Update" using the Extension Manager", I have just run the update for Calendar 2 from 2.1.3 to 2.1.4 and the installed extensions show the change but I can no longer see that either.

I also get the following message when updating "Extension requires a minimum Dreamweaver version 12" I am running dreamweaver 5.5 and that is selected at the top of the Extension Manager.

Hello Keith,
There will be an update for DMXzone Extension Manager coming on Thursday that fixes this issue. Meanwhile you can manually download the mxp file(s) and drag them into the DMXzone Extension Manager so you can use the extensions.

The same story. I installed the Extension Manager version 1.0.1
I had the warning You need dreamweaver 12. I am using 9 (CS3). But Lightbox, CSS image gallery and Fisg Eye menu are removed!
Cannot find them in the menu any more.

Hi Teodor

Not much luck for me, downloaded the extension and when you open the download it says Version 1.0.2 but when you drag it into the Application Folder it over writes existing application as expecting but at the end of all that I still end up with Version 1.0.1. when I open it.

The other issue there is with the extension is you cannot fully close it so you have to tell it not to launch at startup and then restart the mac, all very time consuming when the new version is not installed at the end of it all.

hi Teodor

Not sure how I can be doing this wrong, I have uninstalled then downloaded the new version and dragged to to the Applications folder but still end up with Version 1.0.1 installed! the install disc does say it is version 1.0.2 but the version reference in the application "About dmx....." states version 1.0.1

Hi Keith,

Sorry the Mac version has the wrong version number in the about .. menu.

You can see the right version in the options menu (the hamburger icon on the right side)
