Getting Started With Dreamweaver MX

This article will explain more the Dreamweaver MX development environment, and give you a general overview of the possibilities.

It is extracted from the book Dreamweaver MX: PHP Web Development

Summary

In this chapter we have looked at how to configure Dreamweaver to work with your Development Environment. We have walked through the new Site Definition Wizard, and explained each step of the configuration so that it will apply in each of the four types of development environment available.

We have also looked at the creation of a MySQL Connection that allows Dreamweaver to fully interact with your database, so that you can take fullest advantage of all the functionality that Dreamweaver MX has to offer.

Now that the site is defined and ready to use, let's look at creating our example site, The Dreamweaver Hotel.
