I have 3 classes of users 1-physician 2- customer 3- admin I have a members table, cuatomer table and physician table. When they logon I want to know what group they are in to direct them to the appropriate defult page. I'm trying to use the Login behavior, but it is not working. Can somebody help me out? The access group field is numeric, I just need to capture it in a variable and check it. But I'm new to UD and ASP.

I would have created ONE user table and assigned categories/access levels to them in there

ie
UserName
Password
AccessLevel (perhaps 1 , 2 or 3 for customers, admin, physicians)

then allow access based on this field..

I can't. The physician is verified with the state by their license number. this is a field that only physicians have.
