I have another problem with Access-Memofields:

If the text in a memofield includes a URL, is there a way to show that URL in a dynamically Internetpage as a working Link instead of only displaying it as text?

Thank you for your helpful replies.

Don't think about it.

It is quite easy: you only have to put the required html-code for the link into the memofield. That does not look very good when you look into your memofield BUT it works.

If you don't know anything about those html-codes, don't worry, you can write the text for the link into UDev, make it a hyperlink and copy the code into your memofield.

You can also put the code for images (smilies for example) or other things into the memofield.

If you want to have a example you can visit my first experiments with those things at a simple structured <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle> page and look into the section "Aktuelles". I used it for those experiments.

www.effies.de

So it simply workes like here in this forum.

PeMu,

Please tell me how to do this as well. The site that you mentioned is not in English, and the source code didn't help me.

How do I write the text for the URL for UltraDev so the user doesn't have to type the HTML code for links?

Thank you.

Andrea
