I would like to use Fireworks to design a web page. At my first attempt the output image is rather large. Ive read some notes on slicing imahes to achieve rollovers. Howver all I want to do is break the large image into smaller ones.
How do I do this in Fireworks?

You can cut/slice your large image into smaller images.

Use the slice tool from the Tools panel. ( it is the one that looks like a green square with a scalpel). Click and drag to create rectangles. These green translucent rectangles show you where Fireworks will cut up your larger image.

Try looking at the help files they are quite straight forward and should help you with slicing <img src=../images/fwzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
