I think I have found my ultradev home! Been a Flash designer for a while and I normally hang around www.flashkit.com,
hoping to start a cross-culture exchange-student gig! <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
how many Flashers out there?

yup. it's pretty quiet. I don't think that they have the userbase that we have (all their userbase are belong to us?) but I think I really like the site. I am already learning from the tut's and playing with their extensions....
who knows? maybe we will be the beginning of a user explosion that will take over the world and transform this site into the next major player for Internet Domination! Bwahahah-ahah-**cough cough**
ok, maybe not.

im going through the book from Samspublishing.com entitled "Teach yourself Ultradev4 in 21 days". ya, i know the title is really cheesy, normally i would pass this sort of tripe right on by, however it is a really good book. I will say however that their days are a heck of a lot longer than mine are. Aside from the first week (which is all about interface familiarity) I haven't been able to keep up. usually about 2 of my days to one of theirs, and it is getting worse. You dont even want to know about Day 15!!

to be honest, I don't really have a great deal of history with search engines. I understand the Meta tags of course, and title choice, page content, yada yada yada...
but as far as "tweaking" the results per engine? I'm an idiot!

I never really checked on the origin of the images before, not really sure if they are ours (per se) or open-source clip-art...but the images in the "post new reply" area of this thread (insert image, insert hyperlink) are from frontpage. further, the "insert email" link is from outlook express! gee, sure hope they are open source! he he he

naw. when I am not strategically positioned at the Earth's core I am living in Tucson, AZ. Not really much of a temperature difference most of the year. FrontPage support was historically placed here and in Las Colinas, TX. We are in the process of training a bunch of new engineers in Orem, UT and then my project in Tucson will be phased out. I would still have a job in another dept, but that is why I am hitting the books so hard recently. I think that my days of working for Big Bill are limited...pro'lly be switching out around Feb. or so...
